The relationship between V and Gordon

      British society is under the totalitarian rule, they cannot tolerate the existence of homosexuals, pagans and other unwanted social roles. One evening, the young woman Evey was in danger but fortunately someone named V saved her. V is a mysterious man who always wears a mask, he has a high IQ and superb combat skills. In order to overthrow the ruling class he inherited the former revolutionary Guy Fawkes' mission and founded a mysterious underground organization. However V is not only one person in the struggle, another man named Gordon tries to help V complete his plan in secret. Gordon is a television talk show host and he wants to help V to realize his dream. But what is the relationship between V and Gordon? In the movie, because of the omelette, many people doubt the relationship between V and Gordon. In fact, the movie shows these clearly, but because of a lot of   foreshadowing and flashbacks, we are too focused on the story line is easy to ignore the details between their relationship. A lot of evidence proves that V and Gordon are gay.

      There is some evidence saying that V and Gordon have similar preference. First of all, V and Gordon both prepare an omelette as breakfast for Evey. It is strange that the omelette are almost the same. In addition to this, V and Gordon both play saxophone background music when they make breakfast. Second ordon and V’s interior decoration of their rooms have a lot of similar ornaments, such as paintings and oriental sculptures. In V’s room there is a China stone head in the table, at the same time in Gordon 's cellar, also a Buddha head.

    Gordon tries to help V in secret. When the priest was killed, Creedy says that "terrorist internal structure seems well aware of our television system, the prime minister is an adult suspect is not a ghost." Of course we know that Finch will not be the ghost, but Why was V was so smooth acting on television, and also how did he know the secret of the emergency channel to broadcast his speeches, and who helped him? Gordon is the best candidate.

      V and Gordon both have a large tattoo in their back and arms. Before killing the "Voice of London", he recalled in Larkhill that he used the electric baton wrecked a homosexual who huddled on the ground which was. When V dressed up as a government official and told the story in Larkhill to Finch, there was a person who was curled up on the ground and kicked, which led to V recalling his past. Even though this scene just lasted shortly, there is a correlation that the people lying on the ground being beaten have the same tattoo with Gordon.

     V and Gordon both are gay. First of all when Gordon and Evey had a conversation in the cellar, Evey accidentally saw Gordon's black and white photographs on the wall and suddenly then both of them were embarrassed. The picture was Gordon and another man naked in young age which suggests that Gordon was gay. Second, the women who wrote in the prison was a Lesbian, the strange thing is that in movie when her companion was arrested there was a pair of  homosexuals arrested at the same time. That means they were arrested together into this prison, which suggests that everyone arrested was gay. Sutler locks away rebel government officials, political radicals, and homosexuals in different prisons.  We can also recall that when prisoner is injected in Larkhill, we know that V is next door to the lesbian, so V should be next to the lesbian on the line when they take the shot, in movie there is a flashback picture shows the person who next to the lesbian and that person probably is V.

     Overall, V and Gordon were homosexual partners. They make the same breakfast and both like collecting art, and there are a few other similarities. But V did have his DNA significantly changed, and could have had his sexuality also changed. And Gordon preserved himself, disguised as a normal person and do the talk show on television anchor, trying to secretly help V.
